DESCRIPTION:Join this introductory webinar\, hosted by Professor Juan Castaneda\, to explore how money is created today\, and the roles played by banks\, central banks\, and monetary policy. \nThis webinar has been specially designed as a taster\, so that you can gain valuable insights into our new Economics programmes; MA Money\, Governments and Central Banks (by Research) and Money\, Inflation and Monetarism (Short course). \nWe’ll be highlighting how students develop the critical skills needed to analyse inflation\, financial stability\, and real-world policy challenges. \nWe’ll also cover our range of scholarship opportunities\, including the newly introduced Congdon Scholarship.
